Carolyn released her first lyric video called BRAND NEW MILE on November 24, 2018!!
This song encourages us to connect with our body and our world!! It was written after a fitness/yoga class. The vocal and guitar were recorded in Calgary. The cello was recorded in Venezuela, the video was created in Sri Lanka and the final mastering was done in the United States. Such is the power of new technology!! Feel free to share this video back out into the world to perhaps bring some peace to people who feel connected to the song!!
CAROLYN WON THE FOOTHILLS FOLK CLUB SONG WRITING CONTEST 2018!
Carolyn performed her song Devil Sky and placed first! She will be performing as part of the upcoming season for The Foothills Folk Club 2018/19
BANFF CENTRE MUSICIANS RESIDENCY PROGRAMME
Carolyn attended The Banff Centre Musicians Residency Programme for two weeks and completed a first draft of her musical Welcome To Fairlight. A musical mystery about the many ways we work music into our lives!

Carolyn proudly had the Merry Go Round a song co-written with Eva Levesque on the Travelling Maybels first CD and two songs on their latest CD. Tears Tell the Truth is another co-write with Eva Levesque and Old Montreal is her own composition.

- Carolyn had more than a dozen opportunities to sing her Ballad of the Famous Five during Canada's celebration of 150 years since confederation.
- Carolyn is proud to be invited to sing The Ballad of The Famous Five as part of CKUA Tom Coxworth's concert of 150 Years of Canadian Folk.
- Carolyn performed her Famous 5 songs with TALES (traditional oral story telling group) and as a 'tweener' at the Canmore Folk Festival! We are blessed to live in such a wonderful country!!
